Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Galen Dempsey (born January 13, 1966) is an American actor and race car driver. He is best known for his role as neurosurgeon Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd in Grey's Anatomy. He had early success as an actor, starring in a number of films in the 1980s, including Can't Buy Me Love (1987) and Loverboy (1989). In the 1990s, he mostly appeared in smaller roles in film, such as Outbreak (1995) and television. Dempsey was also in Scream 3 (2000) where he played the role of Detective Mark Kincaid. He was successful in landing a lead role in Sweet Home Alabama (2002), a surprise box office hit. He has since starred in other films, including Brother Bear 2 (2006), Enchanted (2007), Made of Honor (2008), Valentine's Day (2010), Flypaper (2011), Freedom Writers (2007), Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), and Bridget Jones's Baby (2016). Dempsey, who maintains a sports car and vintage car collection, also enjoys auto racing in his spare time. He has competed in pro-am events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Rolex 24 at Daytona sports car race, and Ensenada SCORE Baja 1000 off-road race. Prior to the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans, Dempsey declared that he would "walk away" from acting if he could and dedicate himself full-time to motorsports. Born : 13th-Jan-1966

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

- The Tonight Show with Jay Leno is an American late-night talk show hosted by Jay Leno that initially aired from May 25, 1992 to May 29, 2009, and resumed production on March 1, 2010. The fourth incarnation of the Tonight Show franchise made its debut on May 25, 1992, three days following Johnny Carson's retirement as host of the program. The program originates from NBC Studios in Burbank, California, and is broadcast Monday through Friday at 11:35 PM in the Eastern and Pacific time zones. Unlike Carson or his predecessor Jack Paar, Leno only once utilized a guest host, preferring to host the series by himself. On April 26, 1999, the show began broadcasting in 1080i HDTV, becoming the first American nightly talk show to be shot in high definition. The show is shot in 16:9 aspect ratio. The series, which followed the same basic format as that of his predecessors, ran until May 29, 2009, after which Leno was succeeded by Conan O'Brien. NBC signed Leno to a new deal for a nightly talk show in the 10:00 pm ET timeslot. The primetime series, titled The Jay Leno Show, debuted on September 14, 2009, following a similar format to the Leno incarnation of Tonight.

The Caroline Rhea Show

- The Caroline Rhea Show is an American syndicated variety/talk show that was regarded as the successor to The Rosie O'Donnell Show. It premiered in September 2002 and ran until May 2003 and was hosted by actress and comedienne Caroline Rhea, who was hand-picked by Rosie O'Donnell as her replacement and who had hosted the last few weeks of Rosie prior to her show launching. Like its predecessor, The Caroline Rhea Show was taped in Studio 8-G at NBC's Rockefeller Center Studios in New York City. In many ways, The Caroline Rhea Show was similar to the more-successful Ellen DeGeneres Show; both programs were daytime talk shows that were run like nighttime talk shows, with monologues and house bands and celebrity guests. Unlike with Rosie's daytime show where an audience member opened the show, by announcing the day's guests, Chip Zien was the announcer of the show announcing "Live from New York, it's The Caroline Rhea Show! On Today's Show...Here's Caroline!" The first five words, "Live from New York, it's," mimicked the opening tagline to Saturday Night Live, produced in the neighboring Studio 8-H. The show's intro song was Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline", which the audience often sang along to, particularly in vocalising the three beats after the song's eponymous line and chanting "so good, so good" in response to "good times never seemed so good".

Revealed with Jules Asner

- Revealed...with Jules Asner is a biography-style television show that first aired on E! Entertainment Television from 2001-2003. The host, Jules Asner, was a rising star among the network's stable of on-air personalities, and programmers at the cable channel decided she was the right person to begin hosting the existing series Celebrity Profile which had premiered in 1997. The name change also meant a slight change in format; while Celebrity Profile had been strictly a biographical show voiced by an unseen narrator -- and without a fresh interview of the star featured -- each episode of Revealed featured a new, one-on-one interview of the profile conducted by Asner herself. The first three shows in the series profiled Julia Roberts, George Clooney, and Matt Damon. Each had agreed to participate because of a quid pro quo: Oceans Eleven, their film being released at the time, was directed by Asner's then-boyfriend, Steven Soderbergh. While Asner conducted the "main" interview for each episode, staff producers and associate producers interviewed everyone else whose sound bites turned up in episodes -- co-stars, family, friends, industry insiders, etc. Asner and E! parted company under some unhappy circumstances -- she moved to New York and wed the director, even as network executives were unhappy with the series' declining ratings and Asner's increasing petulance -- especially regarding her unwillingness to ask anything more than softball questions during interviews for her show.
