Profile

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Page began in the chorus before making his Broadway debut in The Wiz playing The Cowardly Lion. He made a large number of stage appearances but also performed as a cabaret singer with an act entitled Page by Page. Page also appeared on screen making his television debut in 1984 and film debut in 1988's Torch Song Trilogy. He appeared as the voice of Oogie Boogie in The Nightmare Before Christmas and related video games, in Dreamgirls as Max Webster and in such television programmes as Sable and Adventures in Wonderland. Page appeared in a number of roles on stage, originating the part of Ken in Ain't Misbehavin' and appearing as Old Deuteronomy in Cats on both Broadway and in the filmed production. He also originated the part of Father in Children of Eden, played The Cowardly Lion in several productions of The Wizard of Oz and appeared in Disney musicals Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. Page also sang in his animated voice roles, performing the duet "Let's Make Music Together" in All Dogs Go to Heaven and "The Oogie Boogie Song" in The Nightmare Before Christmas. All Dogs Go to Heaven

When a casino-owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy, to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles onto an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins to finance his plans. However, all the while, he is still haunted by nightmares of what's waiting for him on the other side unless he can prove that he is worthy of Heaven again.

All Grown Up!

- All Grown Up! is an animated television series created by Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó for Nickelodeon. After the success of All Growed Up, the Rugrats 10th anniversary special, Nickelodeon commissioned All Grown Up! as a spin-off series based on the episode. The series ran from April 12, 2003 to August 17, 2008, and currently airs in reruns on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons. The show aired in reruns on The N from August 18, 2003 until November 12, 2005, it was dropped from the channel on February 2006, but then returned in April 2007 until June 25, 2009, then on July 7, 2009, All Grown Up! was dropped from The N again. The show's premise is that the characters of the Rugrats are ten years older. Tommy, Dil, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Kimi, Angelica and Susie now have to deal with teen and pre-teen issues and situations. It was the first Nicktoon spin-off receiving positive review among critics, and developed a cult following after its run.

Joe Tyson - Sable is a short-lived television program that aired on ABC during the 1987-1988 season, and is based on the comic book, Jon Sable: Freelance, by Mike Grell. Only seven episodes ever aired. The show was a one-hour adventure/drama about mercenary and vigilante Jon Sable, who by day was children's book author Nicholas Fleming. The program ran on Saturdays at 8:00, and aired its final episode on January 2, 1988. Rene Russo had her first television role on the series. Lara Flynn Boyle also had one of her first acting roles playing a kidnapped girl in the series pilot.
