Tunceli doğumlu. Bir süre işletme daha sonra iktisat okudu. Çeşitli edebiyat-mizah-sinema dergilerinde şiirleri, öyküleri, sinema yazıları ve karikatürleri yayınlandı. Çeşitli karma karikatür sergilerine katıldı. Sinema işletmeciliği ve yapımcılık yaptı. Yeni Sinemacılar’ın kurucularındandır. Çeşitli sinema filmlerinde teknik yapımcılık, senaristlik, yardımcı yönetmenlik, senaryo danışmanlığı, süp ervizörlük ve oyunculuk yaptı.Dönersen Islık Çal, Ali, Işıklar Sönmesin; bilinen senaryolarıdır. Çeşitli televizyon filmleri ve diziler çekti. İlk uzun metrajlı sinema filmi olan "Ali" ile çeşitli ödüller aldı. Yaşadığı bir takım sorunlar yüzünden film vizyona giremedi.Yazdığı,çektiği, çalıştığı sinema filmleri yurtiçi ve yurtdışında çeşitli ödüller aldı. Dilber’in Sekiz Günü; Zeynep’in Sekiz Günü ve Ali’nin Sekiz Günü filmleriyle birlikte Aşk Üçlemesini (ruh & kalp & akıl) tamamlamış oldu. Ardından Engin Çeber'e adadığı yurtiçi ve yurtdışında çeşitli ödüller alan "ACI " isimli filmi çekti. Born : Unknown
