Taking Flight is a short film inspired by the life and heritage of Antonio Pasin, inventor of the Radio Flyer wagon. In this fictional tribute to Pasin's legacy, what begins as a small boy's over-scheduled, over supervised, boring day with Grandpa turns into a larger-than-life journey, narrowly escaping wild monkeys and battling aliens to save the universe. Through the power of imagination and epic adventure, a boy learns to be a kid, a father learns to be a dad, a grandpa reminds all of us what childhood is all about.

A world all on its own of humour, warmth and love: Between a boy and his bedridden grandfather there is deep friendship. The aging man has a secret he wants to share with his grandson; together they make for the woods on a final adventure.

Every single mountain in Shanxi is special in appearance, spirit and soul. Each one of them has its long standing story that reveals the depth of its culture, like people from Shanxi have their own story to be unfolded.

Crime strikes the vegetable world when Mrs. Mama Carrot awakens and finds her children have been carrot-napped. She summons the Irish-Potato Police and they are soon on the trail of the culprit. But the various suspects they round up, and grill, aren't the criminals. They finally track down the guilty parties, who turn out to be a gang of mice in disguise. Thrown into a third-degree mousetrap, the mice soon confess. Bleeding Heart Warning: This cartoon contains racial stereotypes (an Irish potato), and cruelty to vegetables...and mice.
