Megan is an all-American girl. A cheerleader. She has a boyfriend. But Megan doesn't like kissing her boyfriend very much. And she's pretty touchy with her cheerleader friends. Her conservative parents worry that she must be a lesbian and send her off to "sexual redirection" school, where she must, with other lesbians and gays learn how to be straight.

ANA ANA is a cinematic poem about four young creative Egyptian women. Most of the material is filmed by the characters themselves, who worked with the film’s directors in a process of collaboration and mentorship over a course of two years. The four main characters find creative ways to express what is hidden within their hearts: speaking of their dreams and desires in an extraordinarily open and intimate way, and using metaphors, and cinematic storytelling to transform the every-day struggles of their lives into the sublime. Set in the overwhelming chaos of Cairo, the film also oscillates back and forth between an empty and abstract desert, which might be real or unreal.

Thea Sharrock's irresistible 2009 production of Shakespeare's popular romantic comedy stirs wit, sentiment, intrigue and love into a charming confection which challenges the traditional rules of romance. Tully Jr. and Earl live on their father's Nebraska ranch, proud and independent to a fault. While the shy, reclusive Earl spends his free time watching movies, the cockier Tully works his way through a succession of short-term affairs and an off-again, on-again relationship with April, a stripper in town. When their childhood friend Ella returns to town to start a veterinary practice, however, Tully falls for her — although the townsfolk have their doubts that he could ever commit to one woman.

Here is the third and last of three self-contained shorts by Helke Sander from her series of shorts entitled From the Reports of Security Guards & Patrol Services . BTW the numbering of the parts is a bit confusing, the only existing parts of the series are No. 1,5 and 8.

A middle school class is playing tag. The boys are chasing the girls and sneaking in a bit of petting out of curiosity. Jennifer runs down to the water when Johan chases her. There she meets Melissa and Ida who’ve found a dead mouse. In their game it’s no longer Johan who has the upperhand.

Set in a games arcade, schoolgirls Pandora and Ria are engrossed in a shoot-em-up. Their jokes turn to jibes and soon insults start to fly. The arcade becomes a surreal place as the girls confront their frustrations with deadly consequences.
