Ghostroads: A Japanese Rock N Roll Ghost Story

Desperate for a job to help him support his family, Jim Norman takes a position teaching high school in the town where his brother was murdered in front of him by teenage bullies twenty-seven years before. The teens who committed the crime are long dead, but now the kids in Jim's new class keep dying and being replaced by new students who look like the deceased hoodlums.

Australian stuntman Grant Page goes to Los Angeles to work on a television series. He uses his spare time to lend his expertise to rock band Sorcery. Page helps the band develop pyrotechnic magic tricks for their shows, and also recounts to his own exploits as a stuntman and daredevil as well as various stunts by other greats.

Mr. Mulwanto's tragic death on Tuesday Kliwon was the beginning of disaster for the Nuri family. It is said that anyone who dies on that day will invite their family members to join them in dying. The families left behind were also asked to undergo a series of rituals to prevent this. Wisesa, the eldest child who works as a doctor, rejected the ritual because it was unreasonable and chose to accompany his mother who was still devastated. However, a strange and terrible incident that happened to Nuri and her sister, Yanda, forced them to find out about the truth behind the myths and rituals.

When villager Kalong dies horribly without reason, the villagers' fears about the ghosts are resurrected. And with a bunch of hell-raising, boozy gangsters, led by Noo Dang, looking for trouble at Kalong's funeral, it's left to Kalong's 8-year-old child - the young novice in the village temple - to save the villagers from a horrible fate.
