Richard Moir

Richard Moir (born 1950) is an Australian former actor and editor. He is known for many Australian film roles and in the TV soap opera Prisoner as the original character of electrician Eddie Cook. In 1990, Moir was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, the degenerative effects of which gradually brought his acting career to a premature end in 1999. Moir later underwent deep brain stimulation therapy, a process covered by the 2006 documentary The Bridge At Midnight Trembles. He was married to Australian actress Julie Nihill, and they have two daughters. Born : 1st-Jan-1950
