Rendy and Jáchym have enough of spending New Year's Eve with their parents plus they want to learn how to ride a snowboard. They have not yet stood on a real board, just a video game one. They win a season pass at the Arcade and they arrange an accommodation at Jáchym's cousin Milan's mountain lodge. Jáchym has to take his annoying sister Marta with him. They are allowed to stay in exchange for doing housework. The lodge is also housing three hot girls who the boys fall in love with. Jáchym and Rendy have to walk the dog, clean the dishes, clean the lodge, get along with Marta and other things all while they learn how to snowboard and impress the girls.

The Beggar's Opera

Unlike any other opera, the so-called Beggar's Opera is not just one composition, but a lineage of adapted compositions, beginning with the original hugely successful 1728 political satire written by Englishman John Gay. Composers and writers have penned variations on it ever since. The most famous of these was A Threepenny Opera by Bertholt Brecht and Kurt Weill. Some things these compositions share in common is their setting among the poor and criminal classes, and the roguish character Macheath. This production is based on an adaptation of Gay's original by Vaclav Havel the freedom-fighter, writer and philosopher who became the first (and only) president of the united post-communist country of Czechoslovakia, and it retains many traces of its theatrical origins. Film reviewers were not too tolerant of what they called "slavish adherence" to the noted Czech writer's stage production, but theater, philosophy and history buffs may feel otherwise.

Jana Dvořáková - Vyprávěj je český televizní retroseriál vyráběný v koprodukci České televize a společnosti Dramedy Productions. Natáčení začalo v roce 2009 a první díl s názvem Od začátku byl uveden na programu ČT1 v pondělí 31. srpna 2009. Seriál je uváděn v týdenní periodicitě a stopáž každého dílu je cca 52 minut. Děj se odehrává v Československu a je zasazen do skutečných historických událostí, které ovlivňují příběhy jednotlivých postav. Dobovou atmosféru autoři navozují ukázkami z dobových Československých filmových týdeníků s původními komentáři, případně novým historizujícím komentářem, který namluvil Vladimír Fišer. Příběh je doprovázen hlasem vypravěče, který propůjčil herec Vojtěch Kotek a poté Matěj Hádek. Scénáře vznikají pod vedením scenáristy Rudolfa Merknera.
