In the dark and seedy streets of Ybor City, Florida, Vampire Investigator Sammy Slick vows to rid the city of its blood sucking inhabitants once and for all. After a dancer from Foxy's Strip Club comes to him with her suspicions that the club's new owner is luring men in as potential prey, Sammy and his trusty sidekick Ash set out to prove her right and bring down the vampiress. Along the way they are met with obstacles, vampiric adversaries, and vampire strippers. Wisely, the famous writer/adventurer, is tricked by his friend (played by Teddy Robin Kwan, the film's director)into helping him steal the dragon pearl. Sam Hui plays Wisely in this big budget HK movie, with production units filming some scenes by the Great Pyramids, and many scenes in Nepal. There are car chases and crashes, chases by horsemen and plenty of fights along the way. The Legend of Wisely is a live action comic book. A lot of effort went into making this movie, and it shows as Wisely goes from one hazard to another, a HK version of Indiana Jones.

Jade Leung (Black Cat) stars in this police action thriller as Yiu, a capable cop who is rescued during an ambush by Man. As Yiu becomes friendly with Man, she also begins to suspect that he may be a secret agent with the gang that Yiu was trying to catch. Her investigation into the agent's file uncovers a secret that is tied to her own past.
