A selfish con-man must show that he can be a family man to inherit his uncle's estate. As he tries to set up his scam family, he realizes that he really wants to have a one.

Pluto comes bounding outside to help Mickey get a Christmas tree. Chip 'n Dale see him and make fun of him, but the tree they take refuge in is the one Mickey chops down. They like the decorations, especially the candy canes and Mickey's bowl of mixed nuts. But Pluto spots them and goes after them long before Mickey spots them. Minnie, Donald, and Goofy drop by to sing carols.

A few days before Christmas Eve the last sack of letters arrives to Santa. At the bottom is a letter that is a bit older than the others, it's a drawing. While the curious Santa tries to figure out what the drawing looks like, strange things begin to happen.

When he tells his little sister Sarah that there is no Santa, she makes a wish that it would be Christmas every day. Billy now has to relive Christmas Day over and over again.
