An exploration —manipulated and staged— of life in Las Hurdes, in the province of Cáceres, in Extremadura, Spain, as it was in 1932. A teenage orphan on a journey of self discovery starts a video journal when he begins to experience black outs and health issues. When his dog is found dead and his girlfriend goes missing his quest turns to discovering who is responsible.

When the film-maker's wife and son went away for a few days, strange things happened in his house. He decided to pick up his camera (and a new camera) and document what was happening. Things went from being just strange to being plain scary. Was his house haunted by ghosts? Or was there a demonic entity taunting him? Or was it all in his imagination? The footage I captured only begins to tell the story.
