A series of loosely connected skits that spoof news programs, commercials, porno films, kung-fu films, disaster films, blaxploitation films, spy films, mafia films, and the fear that somebody is watching you on the other side of the TV.
A collection of Monty Python's Flying Circus skits from the first two seasons of their British TV series.
The show will celebrate not only their sketch characters, but also, for the first time, will introduce the real Harry and Paul, who appear almost live on stage as themselves as they take questions and introduce their favourite sketches from programmes including Harry Enfield and Chums, Harry and Paul and Harry Enfield's Television Programme. These include Kevin Patterson, Tim Nice-But-Dim, Wayne and Waynetta Slob, Dragons' Den, The Scousers and Smashie and Nicey. Harry and Paul also take it in turns to play the host of celebrities that have joined them to celebrate their anniversary, such as Mark Rylance as Thomas Cromwell from BBC Drama Wolf Hall; Rob Brydon, Ricky Gervais, Prince Charles, Miranda Hart, Stephen Hawking, Boris Johnson, Melyn Bragg and Jimmy Carr as they take viewers on a trip down memory lane. There's also a very special guest appearance from a Harry and Paul favourite.
Friends Ted and Andre are down on their luck with no plans for Christmas. Late one December night, they are visited by a strange guest with an unusual request for help.
Shannon's unmistakable comedy antics are in full effect in this collection of sketches from SNL's wild alumna. Laugh along with her fearlessly funny characters like brazen schoolgirl Mary Katherine Gallagher and Joyologist Helen Madden. Plus, see sketches that were cut after dress rehearsal.
Mitzi Gaynor welcomes guests George Hamilton & Phil Harris (The Jungle Book) for a sparkling hour of music, comedy and dance. Songs performed include "Everybody Loves My Baby," "Gentle on My Mind," "Pretty," and "Love Is Blue." Mitzi & George parody classic movies on the late-late show, George playing Cary Grant to Mitzi's Rosalind Russell, Rock Hudson to her Doris Day, and Glenn Ford to her Rita Hayworth.
Mitzi Gaynor opens her second special with a dazzling performance of "Let Go." Additional songs include "Poor Papa," and "What'll I Do." She welcomes guest star Ross Martin (The Wild, Wild, West) for a musical-comedy spoof of Gone with the Wind. Other comedy skits include Mitzi as "The Kid" describing a school recital, and as a Hungarian Gypsy performing "Those Were the Days."
It begins with a warning. It is said that the episode contains scenes that may offend viewers. It is also said that most viewers may experience nagging backache, rapid heartbeat, post-nasal drip and delerium, swelling of the nose, throat, and abdomen and loss of facial hair. Repeated viewing of the episode will result in the loss of one's bodily functions, redistribution of facial features, and a difficulty in forming simple sentences. The announcer concludes the warning by saying that you should definitely watch this episode if you really want to have a career as a lawn ornament. After the roll call(which curiously excludes Bash Brain), Bash Brain appears and says that he's never seen anything so awful in his life. He then reminisces about some time in a hosptial.
Documentary looking back at the history of Saturday Night Live, focusing on the years 2000-2009.
