Charles Hill Mailes (25 May 1870 – 17 February 1937) was a Canadian actor of primarily the silent era. Mailes appeared in 290 films between 1909 and 1935. When the prospector returns to his "diggings" he finds the gambler in possession and in a struggle the prospector falls and is hurt. The prospector's wife, arriving at the claim, realizes she must win the race to the Claim Office.
