Per Gessle

Swedish pop singer-songwriter, guitarist, and harmonicist. He is the lead singer of the Swedish pop group Gyllene Tider and formed Roxette with Marie Fredriksson (Gessle being the chief songwriter in both bands). With Fredriksson's illness in 2002, he went back to recording solo albums, reformed Gyllene Tider in 2004 and became a successful artist in his native Sweden, selling multi-platinum albums. When Marie Fredriksson was diagnosed with brain tumor in 2002, it seemed like the Roxette saga had reached its tragic end. But Marie got well against all odds, and during 2009 and 2010 the group step by step laid the ground for a comeback that again created modern music history. In February 2011 Roxette kicked off their return to the world's stages with a tour that soon was dubbed "The never ending tour", since the bookings never ceased to drop in. The world hadn't forgotten Roxette and before the group played their final show in Mexico City in September 2012, they had performed their classic song catalog in front of 1,5 million singing, screaming and crying people in 46 countries. The day after, the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet published a story about Leila K peeing on the floor at the award ceremony. Leila K filed a lawsuit against them, and was offered a chance to redeem herself. The documentary also covers how Leila K built her career and stardom, from the beginning with Rob'n'Raz and their world wide mega hit "Got To Get" in 1989, up to her second album of her solo career.

Look Sharp Live is the second concert film by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 2 October 1989 on VHS format by EMI and Picture Music International.. The footage consists of two edited concerts filmed on the Borgholm Castle ruin on the Swedish Baltic Sea island of Öland on 25–26 July 1989. The project had a considerable budget, with the production crew hiring two helicopters from the Swedish Air Force to film aerial shots. Footage from this film was used to create two music videos: "Listen to Your Heart" and "Dangerous". Included as an unlisted track on all editions of the film is a remix of "The Look", which mixes the song with footage from two preexisting music videos directed by Peter Heath: "The Look" and "Dressed for Success".
