Non Stop Trouble with Spies

The harmless Berlin taxi driver Herbert Boeckmann has a bad day: Three mysterious gentlemen put the corpse of Boris Stravinsky, a Russian economist, into the car. Unsuspecting Herbert brings the "passenger" to East Berlin. There Boeckmann falls into the clutches of the KGB, who considers him a top agent of the CIA. As Herbert eventually returns to the western part of the city, the CIA waiting for him to be the taxi driver again suspected of being a top agent of the KGB. To prove his innocence, Herbert must find the real killer of Stravinsky. Herbert is given mysterious vials to which he sniffs in extreme situations, helping them not only to amazing powers and unsuspected abilities. As Super Agent "Herbie Melbourne" mixed Herbert on the agent scene. But between the lines he gets in the line of professional killer.

The Devil's General

Curt Jurgens stars as a courageous Luftwaffe officer. Jurgens loves the service, even though he barely tolerates the Hitler regime. Sickened by wartime Nazi atrocities, Jurgens renounces his government, and is imprisoned and tortured as a result. Once released, the general takes pity on a downtrodden Jewish family. This isolated act of kindness is a point in his favor when Jurgens stands before Satan himself for his final judgment. The Devil's General was based on an immensely successful postwar play by German author Carl Zuckmeyer.

Das Kriminalmuseum

Junger Mann - Das Kriminalmuseum was a German television series. It ran from 1963 to 1970 on ZDF and was one of its first programs. Each episode began with a tracking shot through an unspecified crime museum, stopping at one of the displays, whose story was then told. Each episode was between 60 and 75 minutes long and featured different actors as the criminal commissioner. The best known was Erik Ode, who in 1969 moved to Der Kommissar, appearing in 97 episodes. The theme music of the series was written by German composer Martin Böttcher, who also composed the complete scores for five episodes.
