The devil and the water sprite, typical Czech characters, play the leading roles in today's fairy tale. They were invited to the castle by Lord Nesvít himself to help him win the hand of Lady Luzmila from the Cloud Kingdom. However, Nesvít is not so much interested in her as in her gold. But Luzmila is cut from the same cloth. And so the devil and the water sprite are there to find out who has a black soul and who needs help. But in the process, their magic causes a lot of confusion...

Young Mordechai Mayzl has long been in love with Sarah, the daughter of the Prague chief rabbi of the Jewish community. But Mordechai is very poor, so he can only dream of marrying the girl he loves. Or rely on a miracle. Fortunately, in the Rudolfine era in which our heroes lived, magic and miracles abounded. And so it happened that the miserly primate, on one of his returns from a business trip, stumbled upon the coveted golden treasure in the forest. What the primate's greed causes and the intricate paths the treasure takes to reach its rightful owner are told in this fairy tale, which was filmed based on a story by E. Petiška.

But the truth turned out to be even darker than the speculation. In fact, Blouzov was ruled by the chambermaid Johana with the help of dark forces. She and her equally mischievous son, the water sprite Artur, involved the inexperienced Tomáš in their vile intrigues as soon as he appeared at the castle. And even though he soon gained powerful allies and helpers for his "test of adulthood"—his childhood friend Petr and his beautiful sister Jitka—it was not at all easy to stand up to the evil spells and keep his wits about him at the right moment.

Stín smrtihlava

A loose continuation of the cases of our murder squad in the films Škodná and Hrobník. The new film not only deals with the murder of a psychologist, reminiscent in some respects of a deviant crime with bizarre ritual elements. We also follow the fate of Drobný, a recently released prisoner who is convinced that he has a profound reason to hate the psychologist and take revenge on her. Gradually, he finds himself in the position of a cornered animal, which only intensifies his desire for harsh retribution. The first storyline of the film is purely detective-like, while Drobný's story is more in the style of a gritty crime thriller.

For example, he began to force his unfortunate father to go and ask for the hand of the princess herself for him!

Michal - Chlapci a Chlapi is a TV series produced and broadcast in Czechoslovakia in 1988. It follows the story of a group of Czech and Slovak men in their mandatory army service. The series was generally well received and is very well known in Central Europe. It stars Martin Zounar, Boris Slivka, Roman Hajek, Josef Bláha, Jaroslava Adamová and others. The show was directed by Evžen Sokolovský.
