Originally from Montreal, Marie-Josée Tremblay is an accomplished Algonquin filmmaker, visual artist, singer-songwriter and actress. Coming from a family of photographers, Tremblay began making photographs at the age of 9. Passionate about cinema, Tremblay studied communications and film at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and at Concordia University. She has made numerous shorts films and has worked with Wapikoni Mobile and Université du Québec à Montréal. Born : 15th-Aug-1982

Benjamin, a 10 year-old boy, lives with his mother Charlotte since his dad, Christophe, left. Charlotte is expecting a child from Henri, but is hesitant to tell her son, whom doesn't know about his soon-to-be stepfather. The day of the Epiphany, Benjamin accepts to go help his grandmother Flore prepare the house for the holiday, since the family celebrates Christmas on January 6th also. The boy has prepared a nice gift for his young cousin Simon, suffering from an odd congenital disease. The night of the party, many surprises await the attendees.

The Collector

The detective Maud Graham hides her sensibility behind the image of a strong and independant woman. She frequently offers her hospitality to a 16-year-old prostitute, Grégoire, a young man who became her friend. But when the teenager decides to invite a 12-year-old boy who is running away from home, Maud is near illegality. In addition, the detective has to deal with a serial killer who had already killed and mutilated many women. When she understands that the killer is very intelligent and organized, she elaborates a strategy to arrest him. There starts a dangerous game where the two teenagers that Graham is protecting will be implied. The killer is getting closer, revealing more and more of his madness.
