Secrets of Sweet Sixteen

Another Ernst Hofbauer schoolgirl exploiter in the same vein as his Schoolgirl Report films, but for this one he raised the sleaze level to new heights with non-pornographic scenes of rape, pedophilia, satanic rituals, virgin sacrifice and golden showers. Despite how it sounds, these acts are played for silly comedy rather than any harsh depictions.

Mondo Cane and the Schoolgirl Report series stand as obvious influences on this occasionally amusing but generally rather tedious exploitation film that alternates between documentary, fake documentary and docudrama. The theme is Satanism and the linking thread is a recreation of what is supposedly the real-life case of a murder and attempted murder of two Munich teenage men by a quartet of girls who had been dabbling in devil worship. During the ensuing trial, the lawyer resorts to dilatory tactics while the hearing is frequently interrupted by the girls breaking into incantation, temper tantrums or shivery fits ostensibly bearing on demonic possession. When the subject of the Manson killings is brought up, the most obnoxious of the defendants breaks in indignantly, claiming that Sharon Tate’s “execution” was justified as she posed dangers to the Satanic community.

Non Stop Trouble with Spies

The harmless Berlin taxi driver Herbert Boeckmann has a bad day: Three mysterious gentlemen put the corpse of Boris Stravinsky, a Russian economist, into the car. Unsuspecting Herbert brings the "passenger" to East Berlin. There Boeckmann falls into the clutches of the KGB, who considers him a top agent of the CIA. As Herbert eventually returns to the western part of the city, the CIA waiting for him to be the taxi driver again suspected of being a top agent of the KGB. To prove his innocence, Herbert must find the real killer of Stravinsky. Herbert is given mysterious vials to which he sniffs in extreme situations, helping them not only to amazing powers and unsuspected abilities. As Super Agent "Herbie Melbourne" mixed Herbert on the agent scene. But between the lines he gets in the line of professional killer.

Cliff Dexter

Kommissar Meinert - Cliff Dexter was a detective series in the ZDF 1966 until 1968. It produced two seasons each with 13 episodes each 25 minutes, lead actor was Hans von Borsody. Other performers have included Hans Schellbach as Commissioner Meinert, Sabine Bethmann as Jacqueline and Andrea Dahmen as Carrol. In two episodes occurred Günter Strack. Cliff Dexter is a former FBI agent who - working as a private investigator - in a German city. Parts of the series were filmed in Hamburg, including the startup sequence, runs in his Mercedes Benz Dexter Cliff SEb convertible through the Wallringtunnel to his office. The series was, although popular with audiences, not continued after 26 episodes, probably partly because the critics little good at the 'pocket-Bond' was. Yet in this series broadcast period 1966-1968 reached regularly 36-38 million viewers.
