Future doctor Rebo, an innocent village boy with low self-esteem, has a dream of being bitten by a snake, a dream that means that he is about to get a mate. He suspects that his mate will be Erika, the youngest child of the wealthy, Sugiharto. Roy, his good friend, his wife Rini and her sister, Salindri, arrange a plan to match Rebo and Erika. They want Rebo to be known as Robby but advise him to wait for a while. He cannot wait so he approaches Erika as Rebo, Robby’s messenger. Sugiharto finds out about the act. But Erika, who is already matched with the son of her father’s colleague, runs away. Rebo also loses hope and returns to his village although he has graduated as the best student doctor. Roy, Rini and Salindri finally hatch a plan. Everyone is persuaded to attend the graduation, including Sugiharto. Every secret is revealed leading to a happy end.

Finally, Kadir and Fifi return to the city just when Fifi is going to be engaged to Tomo (Rudy Salam), her parents’ intended. But Fifi is already in love with Kadir. Kadir leaves because he does not want to be insulted, but Fifi goes after him and runs away from home.

Maulana and Laila refuse to take sides between the two opposing sides, and try to reconcile them. But a battle is inevitable. In the end, Mahmud kills Anton; but Mahmud dies at the hand of Maulana, his future brother-in-law. Then Maulana runs to Laila’s house and confesses. Laila forgives him, but Majid cannot. He orders a boy to steal the gun of Sabeni, an informant, and he shoots Maulana with it. While the intention was to make this film a musical, it didn’t work as the “realistic world” and the “musical world” could not blend fully.
