Margaret "Mag" Ruffman (born February 28, 1957) is a Canadian comedian, actress and television host. She has played roles in films such as Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea and TV series Road to Avonlea. She was a long-time guest star on Frantic Times. In addition to her acting, Ruffman works on home improvement, hosting shows for W Network, Canada's women's network. She hosted A Repair to Remember in 1999 and 2000. In 2000, she launched a second series, Anything I Can Do, a workshop show. Ruffman writes a weekly home improvement column, ToolGirl, for the Toronto Star. She published a collection of her ToolGirl columns as a book, How Hard Can It Be?, in 2003. She has a spot in a Canadian infomercial "Smartsilk" pillows. An Avonlea Christmas

History Bites

- History Bites was a television series on the History Television network that ran from 1998-2003. Created by Rick Green, History Bites explored what would be on television if the medium had been around for the last 5,000 years of human history. Typically, a significant historical event was chosen and mock news, sports and entertainment programming was created around it. Each episode included several segments of Green offering historical background of the episode's chosen era and otherwise showed frequent shifts from one comedy sketch to another representing a channel-surfing viewer who never watched any one sketch for more than a few minutes at a time. Reruns of History Bites are currently being shown on History Television and The Comedy Network.

Timothy Goes to School

- Timothy Goes to School is a cartoon series based on the Yoko series and other individual books by Rosemary Wells such as "Shy Charles", "Fritz and the Mess Fairy" and "Noisy Nora", but is titled after the book of the same name. It features a young raccoon, Timothy, who attends a fictional primary school. The series aired on PBS Kids as part of the PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch from 2000 until 2004. Reruns were later broadcast on Discovery Kids in the US until 2006. This show airs on YTV, Treehouse TV, and TVO Kids in Canada, and also Tiny Pop, a digital TV channel in the UK.
