Captain Volkonogov Escaped

Captain Fedor Volkonogov works in law enforcement. He is on the good books of the management, and his colleagues respect him. But one day, his life abruptly changes: he is declared a criminal. The Captain manages to run away before he is arrested. Suddenly he turns into an outcast, whom his former colleagues search across the whole city. At night Volkonogov is visited by a messenger from the other world, who warns him that after death he will go hell and be tormented forever. But he has an opportunity to change his fate and get to paradise if he repents, and at least one person forgives him. The Captain embarks on his way to find forgiveness. But he cannot even fathom what tests are awaiting him on this way.

In the regional centre Kuznetsky the mayor has been killed in his office. The murderer is Dimur Kavsadze, in charge of commercial construction work for the city administration. The construction “devours” free land, the souls of people and even what seems beyond the law of profit: the family. Neither the death of people, nor common sense can stop the construction…

Crossroads

Artem Chagin, one of the countless "conquerors" of Moscow, receives news of the death of his father, who left them with his mother when Artem was still a child. There, he unexpectedly meets his father's new family - his wife and six-year-old son, who are backed by a strong Uzbek Diaspora. Trying to solve the problem with the sale of the house, Chagin calls on a local bandit, an old friend of his father, to fight the Diaspora. The conflict is growing like a snowball, turning into a violent confrontation. At the center of all this is Artem, who has lost control of what is happening, and an unhappy widow who just wants to bury her husband.
