Ramaprasad Banik (রমাপ্রসাদ বনিক) (1954–2010) was a Bengali theatre actor, director and playwright. He also worked in films and televisions. He started his career at a very early age with Putul khela, which was an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's 'A Doll's House'. This play was directed by Sombhu Mitra. রমাপ্রসাদ বনিক was called protégé of the Sombhu Mitra. Born : Unknown

Tok Jhal Mishti

Dilip and Mukundo, both married with a child each, live in a building in the city of Kolkata. Both the families do not mix due to the difference in status. A new tenant moves into the building, inadvertently bringing trouble with her. The bubbling and warm Deepa barges into both the apartments and befriends the husbands, as their wives seethe with anger and jealousy. They decide to call on their relatives for help. This rigmarole brings Dilip and Mukundo together; they have a common problem - their suspicious wives. Dujone

Dujone has the college-going Meghna (Srabanti) and Akash (Dev) falling for each other. But with Meghna's dad being in the fish business as opposed to Dev's industrialist dad, objections are an obvious progression. Things get murkier and gory what with Akash's dad keeping him caged in Siliguri and Meghna's against-romance pishi (Seema) keeping a hawk's eye on her every move. And just when you thought you've seen the best of De's muscle flexing and Srabanti's desperation to meet Akash, in comes a contract killer (Arijit) employed by Akash's dad to finish off Meghna. As all action stories should end, Dujone too reaches a fitting finale with Meghna-Akash's love triumphing over all odds.
