Eleftherios Venizelos: 1910-1927

A biographical film about the great Greek politician Eleftherios Venizelos for the period between 1910-1927. The film highlights his vision of a Greater Greece and refers to important events in Greek history such as the formation of a government by Venizelos after the Goudi movement, his dispute with the King over Greece's stance in the First World War, the temporary his withdrawal from politics after his defeat in the 1920 elections and the Asia Minor disaster. A biography of the former Greek prime minister Eleftherios Venizelos and the recreation of his acts and the political and social climate in Greece from 1910 to 1927.

Arpa Colla

"Arpa-colla" in Greek literally means "Grab and stick", a phrase used to show something that has been done quickly and therefore isn't good enough. This is what the 2 main heroes of the film are doing. The one is a director(Giorgos) and the other an author(Kostas) with communistic ideas, who has won a prize at a festival. They both want to make a movie for the cinema. But every idea they have never comes true, because every time they meet someone to whom they tell their idea, they change their mind, and they want to make a totally different movie, ideas varying from political cinema to Greek historical dramas and modern films with motorcycle gangs. Not a bad attempt for the Greek cinema of the early 80's, which starts to wake up from the hibernation of the 70's.

Περί Ανέμων Και Υδάτων

- A romantic drama filmed mostly in Corfu and the television reappearance after many years of the much-loved Thanasis Vengou. Athena lives with her capricious sister in a mansion in Corfu. A "sailor" moves into the house next door, who, after spending all his years at sea, inherited this house in Corfu from his aunt. A tender friendship develops between them, which will however be shaken when Athena's stepdaughter falls in love with the "sailor's" son, who is a pilot, in Paris. Athena sounds the alarm because she learns that the pilot is a womanizer with two failed marriages to his credit and also because she does not want to ruin her daughter's engagement to Lelos, the son of a very wealthy businessman with hotels in Corfu.
