Jacob Derwig is a Dutch film and television actor. In 2003 he married actress Kim van Kooten; they have a son Roman and a daughter Kee Molly. Derwig has been part of the ensemble of Dutch theatre company Toneelgroep Amsterdam since 2005. For his part in their production Naar Damascus in 2008 he was nominated for a Louis d'Or, and in 2006 he was nominated for an Arlecchino for Opening Night. In 2008 he received the Paul Steenbergen-penning from Pierre Bokma. Before signing with Toneelgroep Amsterdam, Derwig played with 't Barre Land and De Trust. There he played, amongst others, the title role in the acclaimed production of Hamlet, which earned him a nomination for a Louis d'Or. Born : 15th-Jul-1969

In fact, the new relationship between old friends goes all wrong, and the young policeman becomes increasingly involved in a deadly web of lies, crimes, treason, and revenge, all seemingly out of control.

To Jacob's astonishment, Marie wants to marry Diego. Even after the wedding has taken place, jealous Jacob tries to get his sister away from Diego. When this doesn't succeed, Jacob starts to provoke his brother-in-law. It soon transpires that no one will go unpunished for this.

De Enclave

- The Enclave is a three-part series directed by Willem van de Sande Bakhuyzen, about the fall of Srebrenica and the Dutch government's failure to protect the town from attackers. The series originally aired by Netherlands Public Broadcasting. The series was made in 2002. It has since been condensed into a movie and is regularly shown on US free satellite network LinkTV. In the original series, each episode describes the Srebrenica massacre in three different points of view and how it continues to control the characters.
