Kasi (Arjun) comes to Mumbai to track his parents' killers. He is successful in finding the first two. In order to find the third one he joins a goon Ravi Bhai (Raj Kapoor). This Ravi Bhai is in loggerheads with his own brother, Mani Bhai (Fefsi Vijayn). Mani Bhai runs another gang and the leading goonda in this gang is Siva (Jagapati Babu). Once upon a time in some Jail, Siva and Kasi were good friends. But now they are thirsty for each other's blood. They unite finally when their loved ones are killed.They plot to kill sivas brother by killing vedhika and divert Arjun. Arjun and Vedhika die in the end.

During a wedding function, Kulasekaran falls under the spell of the shy young woman Sangita. He talks to Sangita and he tries to seduce her. Sangita really likes his funny way of talking, she eventually falls in love with him and they even talk about their marriage. Later, Kulasekaran falls in love with Archana. One day, she finally accepts his love, unfortunately, the happiness was short-lived, she says that it was just a joke. The whole pattern repeats itself many times, Kulasekaran quickly sinks into alcoholism and depression. Archana openly states that she wants to see Kulasekaran going mad. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Aandan Adimai

One day, a poor girl Chellayi is raped and killed by a corrupted MLA. Sundarapandian and Mallaria finally get married, they decide to leave the village but they don't have enough money. Manivannan prepares his daughter's wedding with the MLA and Manivannan orders Sundarapandian to kill the innocent Karthikeyan. Sundarapandian, who is now a good man, decide to join the young pair. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Periya Thambi

Soon, Kamachi's daughter Selvi and Siva fall in love with each other. How Siva reconciles his uncle and marries Selvi forms the rest of the story.

Sakthi

In the past, the young Seethalakshmi became pregnant but she didn't reveal the father's identity. To punish her, the village chief Periya Ayya ordered her to live alone in a small hut and after the childbirth, he took her newborn son. Whereas, Dharmaraj and Varalakshmi got married. Periya Ayya then sent the baby to another village. Many years later, Sakthi comes back to his village and he becomes the manager of the village's temple. Sakthi thinks that he is an orphan. Afterward, Sakthi and Raani fall in love with each other. Soon, Varalakshmi's brother Sethupathi tries to rob the temple's costly things. On his first attempt, Sethupathi's henchmen fail because of Sakthi. The second time, he robs the temple's Kalasam. He then traps the innocent Sakthi and Periya Ayya dismisses him. Sakthi finally comes to know the identity of his parents : Dharmaraj and Seethalakshmi. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Manikanda
