Richard Van Vleet

Richard Van Vleet, also sometimes credited as Richard Van Fleet or Rick Van Vleet is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, and director. He played the role of Dr. Chuck Tyler on All My Children from 1975 to 1984, from 1989 to 1992, and again in 1995 and 2005; and as Dr. Ed Bauer on Guiding Light from 1984 to 1986. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Van Vleet had numerous guest starring roles on some of the most popular prime time series at the time, such as Mannix, Cannon, Marcus Welby, M.D., McCloud, Adam-12, Dragnet, The Virginian, and Ironside. He also appeared in the movies Airport (though uncredited), Angel in My Pocket and Ben, released early in his career. More recently, he has spent more time behind the camera, as producer of Bikini Planet (2002), and writer/director of Retribution (1998). Richard Van Vleet has directed and written such movies as Bikini Planet, Retribution, and Trailer Trash. In 2008, he proposed and directed Ryan and Sean's Not So Excellent Adventure for YouTube celebrities Ryan Higa and Sean Fujiyoshi. Born : 19th-Jan-1942
