A morals reformer returns from Hollywood to his small town, and shows his fellow citizens the results of his investigation.

On a very hot day in Athens, Stephanos, the eldest brother, is working out while his mother is planning a day out. The sailor’s last unconscious image is a “white ship sailing towards the horizon”—a Soviet symbol for happiness and joy.
