Louise (Take 2)

A rumor spreads through a small desert town that a girl has been raped. A respected veteran tries to stop the girl's cousin, a soldier in vacation, from taking the law into his own hands.

After being discredited as a coward, a 19th century seaman lives for only one purpose: to redeem himself. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2000.

Just outside her apartment, Ana finds Dina, a naked, mysterious and confused young woman. Ana invites Dina in and calls a couple of persons so that they can meet her. Pamela and Raymundo, human traffickers, show up to negotiate the buying of Dina, who claims that she comes from the future and that she is actually on a mission to investigate how far human evil has grown in Mexico by the year 2015. The young woman provokes an unsolvable dispute between the traffickers, who end up dead.

Seeing Lola perform, the teacher is filled with lust, eventually resigning his position at the school to marry the young woman. However, his marriage to a coquette - whose job is to entice men - proves to be more difficult than Rath imagined.

Several days from the life of a landowner's estate on the eve of Christmas are shown through the perception of a boy. The action takes place in Russia in the second half of the 19th century.

To avoid seeing Marjorie Dare, Jim Allen visits Stewart Leighton at the latter's country home. Explanations reveal Smiles to be Dorothy's sister and Ben, Jim's father. He was wounded while defending Marjorie's mother, whom Leighton killed.
