After the imperial court targets Wuliang Manor in search of a powerful Sutra, Feng Ren, a Gushi, is tasked with protecting Po Xiao, a blind boy believed to hold the Sutra. As they journey together, Feng Ren suspects Po Xiao may be hiding deeper secrets.

9th century China. Ten year old general’s daughter Nie Yinniang is abducted by a nun who initiates her into the martial arts, transforming her into an exceptional assassin charged with eliminating cruel and corrupt local governors. Upon discovering that some of the local contacts are employed by the antagonist of this tale, things start to get complicated.
