Bruce Nolan toils as a "human interest" television reporter in Buffalo, NY, but despite his high ratings and the love of his beautiful girlfriend, Bruce remains unfulfilled. Renowned oceanographer Steve Zissou has sworn vengeance upon the rare shark that devoured a member of his crew. In order to get a handle on it all, it's best to start from the beginning, but why do things keep shifting, changing?
