An innocently chosen birthday present backfires in dark, weird and deeply disturbing ways in this dark comedy short film.

An early short by Wolfgang Büld, in which he wanted to depict the pleasant, mundane songs and movies of the 50s. The film was supposed to be like a song by Peter Kraus or Ted Herold.

Mercedes, Max, Krull, Stephan and Karin live in an apartment in Munich. Krull loves Mercedes in vain, Karin thinks boys are horrible and takes part in competitions. She wins an evening with Udo Lindenberg. Pursued by Krull, Karin and Mercedes leave the apartment. Stephan and Max are left alone. While Karin goes to the hairdresser for the evening, Mercedes meets Simon, who drives a large truck. They decide to get married and have seven children.

Giacomo drags his son to a club for the selection of a musical talent. Will he be able to move his son out of his own insecurities?

Tim, a loving father struggling to cope with his adventurous son's cancer diagnosis. In an effort to bring some joy to his child, who is weakened by treatments and forbidden to go outside, Tim brings him a red balloon from the boardwalk every day. When Tim begins to realize that instead of protecting his son, he is actually holding him back, the kindhearted balloon vendor becomes an unlikely ally, and Tim learns to enjoy every last moment with his son.

Finding love can be hard, right? Even when you do find someone, what do you say to them through the social network you'll inevitably be using?

Intercutting live action footage with animation, a depiction of the possible memories, repressions and fears of the leading character. The animated sections are monologues by a male figure drawn to highlight the tension between rigid and fluid body structures, skeleton and flesh.

I saw leaves that were moving. I thought: "It's a bird in its nest". I separated the leaves and looked; but there was no bird. The leaves continued to move. As I ran, faster and faster, I screamed. What moved the leaves? What moves my heart, my legs?
