Raku Ichijo (Kento Nakajima) is an only son and a high school student. His father is the leader of yakuza group Shuei-gumi. Raku Ichijo doesn't like to fight and he studies hard. His dream is to become a public official. One day, he passes the entrance gate at his high school and is kicked inadvertently by Chitoge Kirisaki (Ayami Nakajo). She is a new transfer student at the school. Chitoge Kirisaki is the only daughter of a rival gang leader. We find Reiko Ike once again cast as a tough schoolgirl who has to band together with her enemies to upset the reign of their private Catholic high school administration where institutionalized sexual abuse is endemic. The tables are turned on the principal and sanctimonious teachers as well as an American priest when the adult evildoers are publicly humiliated and exposed before the entire student body.

Giko Nokomura is a delinquent girl and a senior in middle school. She struggles to kill zombies who were her classmates.

Izumi Hoshi is senior in high school, but she led a small yakuza group in her past. After killing her uncle's murderer with a machine gun, her yakuza group disbanded. Izumi now lives an ordinary life as a high school student and works as a manager at a cafe. A dangerous situation soon awaits for Izumi.

One day, a mysterious letter 'F' starts to be written on doorplates in a condominium building. Since then, mysterious incidents consistently occur around Yukari Yamamoto, who is an ordinary female high school student living in the building.

School girl Miyuri Obara is bullied mercilessly but finds relief in an unexpected friendship with Tsumugi. Yet even as Miyuri's life turns around there's a lingering suggestion that something is not quite right.

Saki, Anju, Chiaki, Ami, and Kaya reunite for the first time in years. The five of them excitedly decide to go Toshimaen Amusement Park, a place that was very important to them when they were younger. None of them know that they're about to enter a nightmare…

Yuki is a 2nd year high school student. She volunteers at a paediatrics ward for her summer vacation, because she wants to witness the moment a person dies. She got that thought after feeling envious of a transfer student's story of seeing a friend's dead body. Yuki has friend named Atsuko. She was bullied in the past and has anxiety issues. She volunteers at a nursing home for her summer vacation, hoping that she will gain courage if she sees the moment a person dies.

When Chihiro was a baby, she suffered from eczema. Her parents tried to find a cure, but nothing worked. Her father's co-worker then gave him some water from a strange religious group. Chihiro was miraculously cured by the water. Her parents began to follow the strange religion and became fervent followers. Chihiro is now in the 3rd grade of middle school and she faces changes in her life.

An island in Japan is the site for the dumped and the refuse. Nanakusa and Yu who were childhood and school friends meet on this island that is called Kaiden, a scary name that only refers to things not normal or earthly. The reunited friends strike a bargain and are soon involved in cases most would not dare be involved in or become entangled in.

Adapted from Kabei Yukako's novel of the same name. After being guided by a mysterious message from the past on a cellphone's answering machine, Umi encounters Mahiro, a delinquent at her school.
