When Martin, a former GDR citizen, is released from jail, he lately becomes confronted with the consequences of the German re-unification.

The film is an adaptation of the novel Samar Habib by Ismåeel Walieddin. author of Female Homosexuality in the Middle East: Histories and Representations.
