Bhargavacharitham Moonnam Khandam movie revolves around a notorious underworld Don of Kochi called 'Current Bhargavan' (Mammootty), who is always accompanied by funny looking goons (Johny and Mohan Jose). The present problem of the Don is that he has lost confidence and can't pick up a gun or be violent anymore. He accidentally hears the oration of world renowned psychiatrist Dr Shantharam (Sreenivasan), who boasts that he can even treat Bin Laden to come back to activities of peace. The Don then forcefully acquires the help of the psychiatrist.

Masala (English: Mixture of Spices) is a 2013 Telugu film directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar and jointly produced by Daggubati Suresh Babu and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. It is a remake of the 2012 Hindi film Bol Bachchan and Venkatesh and Ram Pothineni reprised the roles of Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan respectively. The film released worldwide on November 14, 2013. Upon release, the film received positive reviews from critics albeit the lead actors and the comedians' performances were appreciated.

Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu is a 1986 Malayalam comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. Starring Mohanlal, Mukesh, Lizy, Sreenivasan, Jagathi Sreekumar, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Kuthiravattam Pappu in the main roles. This film was a huge hit in theaters and is considered as one of the best comedy films in Malayalam cinema.

Chandini sees her father Krishnadas, Mayor of Cochin being killed by the rivals, but manages to escape from them and comes to Ooty. The needle of suspicion falls on Royichan and friend Appachan. Besides Roy and Appa, Nischal captivated by the beauty of Chandini and try to impress her.Meanwhile Chandini goes missing. Mahanagaramlo Mayagadu is fully comedy based movie in which, Chiranjeevi played a role of Raja, whose main aim is to make money by hook or crook and get his sister married. His father commits suicide after being accused of theft and his mother dies of disease.

Col. Ravivarma Thampuran visits the home village of his subordinate Mani where he finds and eventually falls in love with a girl named Meenakshi.

After witnessing the murder of his father by Eappachan, Kochu flees his village to escape him. Years later, Kochu, now a don, returns to the village to avenge his father.

Thuruppugulan story is focused on Kochuthoma (Innocent) and his son Kunjumon (Mammootty). Kochuthoma is running a typical street side "thattukada" in Kochi. At the age of ten, Kunjumon accidentally injures a person. After the incident when his son faced trouble to stay at Kochi, Kochuthoma sent him to Kozhikode to stay with his dear friend Swami (Jagathy).
