Southern Baptist Sissies is the live film of the GLAAD Award winning play by Del Shores. Southern Baptist Sissies is the story of four boys who are gay growing up in the Southern Baptist Church and how they each deal differently with the conflict between the teachings of the church and their sexuality.

Alchoholic former country singer Mac Sledge makes friends with a young widow and her son. The friendship enables him to find inspiration to resume his career.

A vivid, dynamic Southern coming-of-age drama, takes place in the transitional space between high school and college, when life seems to be all questions and no answers, and the future is scarily wide open. Set in and around a Charleston, SC Baptist church, weaving through this ensemble piece are three main characters - Brea, an introspective pastor's daughter experiencing debilitating doubt, the hyperactive Laura, Brea's best friend and a devout believer, and Tim, the open-hearted son of a single father, confronting his homosexuality for the first time. Tensions and buried feelings abound, as colleges are chosen and adults behave badly, as Brea, Laura and Tim attempt to hang onto what they have, all the while yearning to break free.

"Sordid Lives" is about a family in a small Texas town preparing for the funeral of the mother. Among the characters are the grandson trying to find his identity in West Hollywood, the son who has spent the past twenty-three years dressed as Tammy Wynette, the sister and her best friend (who live in delightfully kitschy homes), and the two daughters (one strait-laced and one quite a bit of a loser).

Louis meets the Phelps family — the people at the heart of the controversial Westboro Baptist Church. The Phelps have rabid anti-homosexual beliefs, and often campaign at the funerals of American soldiers. They believe that every tragedy in the world is God's punishment for homosexuality.

Because her father Erich had a heart attack, Meike returns to her hometown on Lake Constance with her son Paul. But Erich is not happy about the visit. He still blames his daughter for his son's death. Only his bright grandson Paul manages to break through the rough shell of the Lake Constance fisherman. And Meike meets her childhood sweetheart, Paul's father, again.

Ketki marries Vinay, who is exploited by hard-nosed businessman Tirpat. Ketki then organizes local women against Tirpat & Co. Her group includes her sister-in-law, who had a run-in with a dangerous priest.

A young man forges a check in order to help his mother, but is caught and sentenced to 14 years in prison...

Divya(Srilakshmi), the 8-year-old daughter of software engineers Arun and Chitra, feels lonely and abandoned as her parents barely have time for her amidst their busy schedules. When Arun's school headmaster visits them, Divya learns about Arun's father, with whom Arun has severed all contact. She accompanies the headmaster back to his village and meets her grandfather Chinnasamy(Bala Singh). As she spends time with him, she finally gets the love and affection she was yearning for.

This movie is about the transfor-mation of friendship into love. The same old story Karthik (Ratthan, is the son of makeup man Babu) andAnitha (Manju) are childhood friends and their families too are fond of each other. Karthik’s father Ramachandran (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a widower and he dotes on his only son. Even though Karthik and Anitha are inseparable in college, they’re often at loggerheads with each other but Anitha realises that she’s in love with Karthik only after her wedding is fixed with another man (Abhinay).

Social deprivation, mental illness, addiction, sexuality and drama abound when Jake abandons his wife and kids for Ethan, a young, gay, streetwise charmer. Jake struggles to hide his identity but things come to a climax impacting the hearts and souls of all involved.
