The Party

The film begins with a school teacher bidding farewell to his students, who are leaving for the summer. As he is heading home he notices two of his students are hitch-hiking and picks them up. He invites them over for dinner and lodging, which they accept.. The majority of the film from this point on is set at the mansion, where the two students turn from guests to prisoners under the teacher's command.

Stage-and-night club star Jeannie Laird buys her first home, and everyone who is anyone comes to her first garden party only to be blinded by smoke from next door. Jeannie charges next door to bawl out her new neighbor and meets comic-strip artist Bill Carter. Bill has devoted himself to his strip, and raising his ten-year-old son Joe since the death of his wife. Joe bases his strip on the everyday happenings of he and his son and is proud of keeping it scrupulously honest. When Jeannie and Bill fall in love, young Joe is hurt, especially when Bill starts using a lot of the father-son time to be with Jeannie. Bill cancels a father-son trip to Canada, and Joe decides to write a letter to Bill's syndicate pointing out that the current plot line of the script being set in Canada isn't honest, since they didn't go.

Taking refuge in an abandoned cargo truck, a bickering couple (and their dog) find their lives on the line when tensions between them rise to dangerous levels during the zombie apocalypse.

Leonor and Juan are a united couple of good standing that cannot have children. They want to adopt one but do not succeed because he is too old. Leonor proposes Juan an audacious plan: having a child with another woman, offering her a significant amount of money if she renunciates to the child. As it is very difficult to find the girl, they publish an advertisement in the press. Ana finally applies, as she has no job and lives far away from his family, so she accepts the deal.

Eve and Peter fall in love at first sight at a New Year's Eve party, but are separated by Eve's jealous fiancé, Ralph. With neither knowing the other's name, they both spend the following day searching frantically for each other around London. Peter's only clue is a set of shop mannequins, all perfect likenesses of Eve - and all made by Ralph's factory.

The cops Boki and Pajko try to catch the arms smugglers. Their commander claims that the smugglers are women who have AIDS, which only makes their quest even more difficult.

Two female hitchhikers get mixed up with a gang of thieves and their stolen jewelery.

In their quest to raise $50 000 in three days, they find themselves caught in the midst of a holy war where survival is their only hope.

A multimillionaire, whose son is gay and daughter a lesbian, leaves a will with one clause: His children will inherit his money only if at least one of them produces him a grandchild within a year of his death.
