The leader of an all-girl teenage greaser gang attempts to get the attention of her bookworm crush, but her usual tactics don’t seem to be working.

A cellist and a pianist, along with the daughter of the owner of a musical home, form a classical trio. A television producer challenges confronting the modern equipment. Accept and so begin a new career in popular music, so despises his former employer, thus limiting the affair between his daughter and one of them.

A handsome and mysterious stranger, played by Darío Grandinetti, walks into the town square of Villaserena one day and strategically places loudspeakers around the town, blaring a variety of musical tunes. Soon, he begins to sell airtime to the various locals, who broadcast their own personal love dedications and (more frequently) insults for all to hear. A subplot evolves between Abelardo (the stranger), Celeste (a young woman who is chained inside her father's house to stop her running away), and José (a young man).

Ed Blake is a balding middle-aged man who decides to buy an old movie theater, The Ritz, to shape it up into a retro 1950s music hangout. With the aid of loyal girlfriend Nancy, foreman Bruno, and assistant Marcus, Ed is able to assemble a construction team to plan to be on time for the grand reopening. But unknown to everyone, a disfigured character has lived in the passageways of the old theater since the 50s, occasionally popping out to murder an indigent or intruder that happens upon his domain.

Catita is a simple and poor woman who dreams of that her son stands out on something important to help her out of his humble. But she opposes to him being boxer, therefore constantly fighting with her husband.

Two young friends, urban out-of-a-job types, work out, along with a mate -a professional pusher- a way to get out of the misery they are living in: kidnap the rich guy of the town.

Con artist Steve Blair persuades Tony Dallas, a Manhattan gangster, to finance a movie about Adam and Eve by offering the female lead to Tony's stripper girl friend, Cha Cha Miller. The film is such a disaster, however, that Steve and his writer, Paul Ferris, decide to escape on a freighter to Greece. En route, Steve learns that the island of Paradeisos has lost its tourist trade because it has no apparent historical or mythological heritage. Intrigued, he hits upon the scheme of turning Paradeisos into a legendary island of love and taking a cut from all commercial enterprises. After planting Greek antiquities in the waters surrounding the island, Steve induces Paul to "recover" them, thus causing the tourist trade to increase.

The new steward of Siltala ends up falling in love with the beautiful widow of the house. Their romance is endangered by misunderstandings and the fact that the estate of Siltala is swimming in debt. And the new steward isn't quite what he seems to be.

Polydoros Lagos is a janitor in an ordinary Athens' block in the 1960s who's struggling to serve as many of the building's residents as possible in order to save some money to help his six sisters (and his aunt) get married, since this is the only way he can finally get married too.
