Yuko is in love with an old poet who happens to be also a married man. She waits patiently for him and only him, yet she is constantly being lust by others.

Recently arrived from Recife, bachelor Paulo goes to a party in Rio de Janeiro and there he meets Lucíola, with whom he falls in love. Despite his friend Sá having announced that Lucíola is a prostitute, Paulo begins to experience great love with her, but cannot avoid being jealous.

A blackmail ring uses illicit photos of an unfaithful wife to force her into prostitution.

The film follows randy college boys Zack and Brian on a trip to Malibu for a party where there's a shortage of boys but a bevy of buxom girls. Beset on the way by car trouble, and various other distractions, the film also follows the journey of Zack and Brian's girlfriends, who follow the boys to Malibu but end up having their own lusty adventures.

A wife gets a call from a man claiming to be from her husband's company. He tells her that he will come to pick her up on his behalf. But when he takes her to the hotel he locks her in a room and rapes her. The kidnapper then calls her husband but he doesn’t want a ransom. The film is about the animality that lies latent in the act of sex, and focuses on love and eroticism as a bodily, transcending act. Love and the experience of loss is given concrete physical expression in the film through blood, vomit, sweat and tears. wonderful "Rupture" is far from the more progressive action of a classic film, it is built around an atmospheric intensification that gradually builds to finally release. Both in the action and on the sound side, the film uncovers extreme moods from the swaying, meditative to the uncomfortable and transgressing.
