I've got to say that I love my historical sword and sandal dramas - and with Richard Harris and Christopher Walker in it, I was prepared to overlook the fact that this was cannibalised from a two-part mini-series with more investors than you can shake a stick at. Unfortunately, their choice in the title role - Jeremy Sisto - singularly failed to carry off the role. Caesar was renowned for his ability as an orator - he could sell sand to an Egyptian - but this one couldn't sell me a chocolate covered Jeremy Irvine. It's flat, episodically chronological and the characters are sterile; Pompey (Chris Noth) especially. These stories, in a made-for-television context, never compare well to their grand cinematographic counterparts - "Cleopatra" (1963) or "Julius Caesar" (1953) - so why try? If you know nothing about Roman history then it might just put a few names into your head for further reading, but otherwise forget it...

A documentary-narrative film which looks at real events and personal phenomena of artist Zarko Lausevic. "Laush" above all tells a story of an evil time we've all been through, represents both sides and is made with empathy and respect towards everyone involved in the tragic incident. Through recreations, narration, memories of colleagues and quotes from the book "A Year Passes, a Day Will Never Pass" which the artist wrote during the hardest stage of his life, the weight of his fate is presented. The aim of this project is to portray the life of brilliant actor, who in the midst of great fame, disappeared from the scene through the cruelty of dubious times.

Zurich in 1519: The young widow Anna Reinhart lives a barren life between fear of the church and worries about the future of her three children, when the arrival of a man in the city causes turmoil: The young priest Ulrich Zwingli takes up his new position at the Grossmünster in Zurich and sparks fierce discussions with his sermons against the grievances of the Catholic Church. Zwingli's revolutionary thoughts frighten Anna. But when she sees how Zwingli lives charity and not just preaches, she increasingly becomes fascinated by him. But Zwingli's success quickly becomes dangerous. His ideas almost trigger a civil war, and at the same time a struggle for power and interpretive sovereignty breaks out in the inner circle of the movement. When the Catholic forces begin to form internationally, the relationship between Zwingli and Anna is put to a hard test.
