Martin and Henry are a married gay couple. In the alternate world in which they live, they discuss an issue that has recently hit the news which is divisive not only within their household but in society in general: legalizing straight marriage.

In 1951, a doctor wants to make the holiday special for his worried wife before he is shipped out to serve in Korea, but when she suffers a minor fracture to her arm his carefully planned out Christmas Eve plans are upended. In 2003, a newly married couple who are always in agreement about everything hosts two sets of in-laws for Christmas Eve for the first time and find that they may not have had as much in common as they thought they did. And in 2024, a couple tries to arrange special Christmas surprises for each other but keeping them a secret may be harder than they thought.

Young couple Rohan and Josh plan a perfect weekend getaway in the country to introduce their parents. As tensions begin to flare between the more traditional Sharon and Frank and the laid-back Liddy and Cliff, the families soon realize that their rental is haunted by the presence of a 400-year-old poltergeist.

Two bank robbers, Dennis and Hal, are on the run from the police after a successful heist. Holiday Weekend is like several small sketches that add up to one incredible portrait.

An unmarried gay couple creates a home and establishes a durian farm together. After one partner's sudden death, the deceased's family claims their assets due to the absence of legal marriage recognition. The surviving partner fights to recover their shared property and protect the life they built together.
