South of France. In the sultry August heat, Geronimo, a young social educator, tries to ease tensions between the youngsters of the St Pierre neighborhood. The mood changes when Nil Terzi, a teenage girl of Turkish origin, flees an arranged marriage, running to the arms of her gypsy lover, Lucky Molina. Their escape sparks hostilities between the two clans. When the jousting and the musical battles begin, Geronimo struggles to quell the ensuing unrest around her.

Based on James Michener’s Pulitzer Prize-winning collection of short stories TALES OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s own Pulitzer Prize-winning blockbuster was a landmark of post-World War II Broadway, a provocative romantic drama that beguiled audiences with a hit parade of instant standards. “South Pacific” reached new heights when, for one enchanted evening, Carnegie Hall presented a magnificent concert production with a dream cast headed by Reba McEntire, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Jason Danieley, Lillias White, and Alec Baldwin. Directed for the concert stage by Walter Bobbie, with musical director Paul Gemignani conducting the Orchestra of St. Luke’s.

Marianne is a dancer at the Lilla Teatern. The theatre has financial troubles and its existence is under threat. Marianne falls in love with Stig Broman, the owner of the theatre. After a few problems, the actors manage to set up a show, with Marianne as leading lady, which will decide the fate of the theatre.

1952, Québec - Alys Robi, vocalist at the top of her popularity and recognized worldwide, was interned in spite of herself, by her father. Medical authorities prescribe her the only cure for a possible cure: the lobotomy. Under the bright lights of the operating room, Alys sees her 28-year life flash before her eyes.

Two creatures meet on either side of its bars — Boris, half-man and half-bird, and Alphea, a melodramatic diva. Boris is stranded on the outside after a lifetime searching for the cage, and Alphea is trapped on the inside and longs for freedom, yet fears the outside and can’t remember how she got trapped inside.

A sweet inn-keeper's daughter falls in love with a woodcutter, but witnesses the woodcutter's brother raping her sister. Tragically, the sister commits suicide in shame, and the rapists turn his attentions to the witness, leading to more danger than most romantic dramas can handle.

Velu's only dream is to become a police officer. One night after having dinner at a restaurant near the beach, Velu goes to pay the bill leaving his girlfriend Asha behind. At that moment, a police officer drinks and urinates besides Asha. Irritated, she scolds him. He attempts to rape her but is beaten up by Velu severely and receives a scar on his face. Angered by this, he seeks revenge against Velu.
