Shoko and Mutsuki get married to satisfy their worried parents, but she is well past the age at which a 'good' Japanese woman should marry, and he is in love with a young male college student. The film is less a realistic exploration of gay life than a fairy tale of three young Japanese trying to construct an alternative to the sexual and familial roles given to them by a society turning increasingly emotionally barren.

At the beginning of the 1940s, in a France occupied by Nazi forces, lived the Jewish Joffo family. Happy and tight-knit, she sees her future darken when all members of the family are forced to wear the yellow star. Fearing the worst, the parents organized their family to flee to the free zone in the south of the country. Maurice, twelve years old, and Joseph, ten years old, will therefore leave alone in order to maximize their chances of finding their older brothers already settled in Nice. The brothers left to their own devices demonstrate an incredible amount of cleverness, courage, and ingenuity to escape the enemy invasion and to try to reunite their family once again.

It's the story Hollywood has glamorized, publicized, and bombarded us with-how it all began for the two young men, now famous for the tabloid coverage of ther on-again-off-again romances, their big budget smashes and flops, and their "Project Greenlight." It started with a script for the film that became Good Will Hunting, slaved over by the bright young dreamers (portrayed in this play's permier by the female playwrights) in their run-down apartment in Somerville, Massachusetts, in 1996. Or was it This hilarious, scathing play takes us back to the pivotal moment when the finished script that would change their lives...fell from the ceiling while they were working on something else. The laughs come at a manic pace, in this delightfully venomous play that has taken off-Broadway by storm.

Riki and Luca are two young men in search of the meaning of their life; they find their answers in the powerful love they feel for each other. A run against the time keeps their destiny on the edge of the abyss. Riki and Luca are often bullied by a nazi-skin gang that makes their life impossible. The two decide to rebel against the gang and they star challenging them, until one day the bullies set a trap for Luca and brutally beat him up, sending the young man to the hospital, close to death. This tragic event generates different reactions among Riki’s and Luca’s parents and Luca’s mother decides that for Riki it will be impossible to come to the hospital in order to stay next to the suffering Luca. From that moment on nothing is like it used to be and the love between the two young men will turn into Luca’s parents hate and rancor towards Riki.

However, what we will experience that day is carefully recorded footage of Sakamoto performing a few pieces of music each day over the course of a week, that was then thoughtfully edited together.
