A documentary about the people who ride their motorcycles around America. Filmed during the 1996 annual biker run held at Sturgis, South Dakota, it takes a close look at some of the different types of people who ride motorbikes, showing that they're not what popular stereotypes have portrayed them to be. Among the people followed are Alex and Martin, a middle-aged couple planning to attend the festival together, Ilene, who comes from a long line of bikers, and the rough-looking "Liddo" Jim, head of a group called the Ressurection Motorcycle Club.
Continuing the popular series from Fleshwound Films, this highlight video shows some of the more insane things people have tried to do with motorcycles. Filled with death defying leaps from motocross events and off track leaps and hill climbs, this film moves at a frenetic pace. Several professional motocross riders, including Seth Enslow, pull off some amazing stunts and jumps. This is the fourth entry in the Crusty Demons of Dirt series.
Top Gear's Steve Berry presides over the case of whether bikes are good - and if they are, which ones are the best. He looks at Yamahas, Harleys, Nortons and even Pizza Delivery Bikes before he passes judgement. Evidence comes in the form of clips of bikes from all over the world, and plenty of stunts.
The Official Review of the 2019 MotoGP™ World Championship 2019 saw Marc Márquez take a record 420 points as he secured his eighth World title overall and his fourth consecutive MotoGP™ World Championship. It was also the year fans got to salute Jorge Lorenzo as the three-time World Champion called an end to his stellar MotoGP™ career. As one hero exited the pitlane, it looked as if another was entering. France’s Fabio Quartararo, aged just 20, took seven podium finishes and six pole positions in his first year of the premier class, securing fifth place in the World Championship overall. Andrea Dovizioso continued to impress on the Ducati and Maverick Viñales and Álex Rins led the charge for Yamaha and Suzuki respectively, so the season ended with four different manufacturers in the top four spots. MotoGP™ can always be relied on to deliver excitement and drama in spadefuls throughout the season and 2019 is certainly no exception.
What if you were a Hollywood movie star with an obsession for cars and racing? Eric Bana is such a star!
Take a journey through a decade of World Superbike racing; a decade when riders traded blows on and off the track, the races really were elbow-to-elbow and the only things bigger than the crowds were the egos! Carl Fogarty, the four-times World Champion, James Whitham, Neil Hodgson and Frankie Chili reveal what is was like to race in these turbulent years, and what they really thought of each other and rivals like Scott Russell, Aaron Slight, John Kocinski and Anthony Gobert.
A fresh take on the outlaw spirit, focusing on a road trip by four motorcyclists who forge deep friendships over nearly 3,000 miles. Zeros in on four California women who get to know one another while traveling to and from Sturgis, South Dakota, for the world’s largest biker gathering, an annual event since 1938. The rally is a heady brew of races, partying, and exhibitionism under the Great Plains sun. The central quartet have come to Sturgis not merely to revel but to work: Among them are two journalists (Cris Sommer-Simmons, cofounder-founder of Harley Women magazine; and Jamie Elvidge, who specializes in test-riding bikes), a singer-songwriter (Gevin Fax) and a photographer (Gail DeMarco). Combines footage of the women’s trip and post-travel interviews.
Disposable Hero documents Brian's journey from hospital beds to podium tops!!! No one in freestyle has had it as good and as bad as Brian Deegan. Brian has collected more X Games and Gravity Games medals than any other competitor. He's appeared on the cover of Racer X Illustrated, Transworld Motocross & FreeriderMX. Features of him have appeared in not only these motocross industry related magazines but in FHM, ESPN The Magazine, DUB and Rolling Stone. Yet at the same time, he's accumulated more X-Rays, Pins, Rods, Plates, Casts, Gashes, and screws than most freestyle motocross riders. To top it all off, he most recently lost a kidney and severely injured his spleen while filming for MTV's Viva La Bam. "Disposable Hero motivates you to throw away your crutches and kick the weak in their ass, The Grim Reaper was at the door and Deegan did not answer." - Jerry Bernardo
In 1994 filmmakers Jon Freeman and Dana Nicholson had been accumulating footage to showcase a behind the scenes expose of the lifestyle of an American pro motocross rider in action, 145ft plus jumps, 45ft high in the air soaring over sand dunes, mountains, houses, buses and anything else secure and steep enough to hold the weight of bike and rider. The end result was Fleshwound Films and the first video Crusty Demons of Dirt. The launch of this video was to change the face of motocross and create Freestyle Motocross (FMX). For over a decade, they took their dirtbikes around the world in search of unique locations and ultimately experienced the most ridiculous adventures. Exotic locations in nineteen countries : the ruins of Machu Picchu, packed arenas in Australia, the mysterious Easter Island, wild deserts in Africa no matter where we go, nothing is ever left the same.
