Jack Beauregard, an ageing gunman of the Old West, only wants to retire in peace and move to Europe. But a young gunfighter, known as "Nobody", who idolizes Beauregard, wants him to go out in a blaze of glory. So he arranges for Jack to face the 150-man gang known as The Wild Bunch and earn his place in history.

The simple story has the pair coming to the rescue of peace-loving Mormons when land-hungry Major Harriman sends his bullies to harass them into giving up their fertile valley. Trinity and Bambino manage to save the Mormons and send the bad guys packing with slapstick humor instead of excessive violence, saving the day.

But Durango only has eyes for his bride-to-be Lucy. Four masked men attack Lucy's father's farm and steal Lucy's dowry. They kill Lucy and her parents after the father strips the face mask from one of the bandits. A pocket watch is stripped from one of the bandits by Lucy's father and this is the only clue that Durango will have to revenge his love... With Joanne's help can Durango avenge himself?

Rudy Wallace arrives home to take over the family ranch as his father was killed by cattle baron Morrison. Morrison wants no competition and instructs all other ranchers not to sell Rudy any cattle. A sheriff has followed Rudy to arrest him as an accomplice in a series of holdups but eventually finds out that Rudy is innocent and helps him defeat the crooked Morrison. Lucky's band of outlaws holds a rich girl for ransom and plans a new series of robberies. Meanwhile, a peasant who was widowed by one of Lucky's men teams up with a Preacher/Bounty Hunter to plot a premature end to Lucky's lucky streak.

This engages the services of a famous gunslinger called Sabata and instructs him to kill Steve. The fate joins Steve and the Mexican bandit Leon Pompero, and together they decide to defeat the murderous gunman.
