Isolated bell-ringer Quasimodo wishes to leave Notre Dame tower against the wishes of Judge Claude Frollo, his stern guardian and Paris' strait-laced Minister of Justice. His first venture to the outside world finds him Esmeralda, a kind-hearted and fearless Romani woman who openly stands up to Frollo's tyranny.

The film centers on a big Polish family. Jadzia is the mother and the ruler of the Pzoniak family (she has five children). Though she's happily married to Bolek, she is also having a long-time affair with Roman. Her young daughter Hala is having an affair with neighbour cop Russell and becomes pregnant by him. Russell is pressed hard to marry Hala.

Krzysiek Biuro Rzeczy Osobistych Theater (created by intellectually disabled actors) is the winner of a festival, in which the prize is a performance in a professional theater. With great joy and expectations, Krzysiek and his actors are currently working on a new play "Zorba." It would be great to perform it on a real stage. It turns out, however, that the director of the theater, when offering them assistance, sets certain conditions, and when rehearsals begin, a few professional actors take part: Bartoszek - an aging actor, Olbińska - a former star who now plays lesser roles, and Wiktoria - a star who was acquired by the theater director.

Hoshino Bunzo raises up his orphan grandson, Keiji whose right leg gets paralyzed when he was an infant. Bunzo loves Keiji so much that he does every thing to protect his grandson. Sonoda Keiko, a new young teacher comes to the school when a new term starts. She wants Keiji to go back to school. After two years absence from school, Keiji tries to attend the class but he cannot continue. All pupils hold an exhibition of Keiji’s paintings in the village shrine to make him happy. He is very pleased and gives his paintings to them and to Keiko, he gives a painting entitled "Spring Pony". When this picture is awarded a prize in the National Friendship Painting Compettition, it is like a new beginning for Keiji’s family.

DJ from a small town plans to organize a great artistic happening. His plans coincide with those by local bigwigs who desperately want to promote a local food company.

In order to be with her ill grandmother, which she barely knows, she spends the summer in Ojos Negros. There she will meet Alicia, a girl her age, who also stays in town for the summer. Together they will venture into the adult world through a stifling summer that never ends.

On his final delivery of the day, a carefree pizza delivery guy arrives at an unfamiliar, desolate apartment building, only to find the customer absent. Curiosity leads him to explore the rooftop, where he becomes trapped as night falls and the winter chill sets in. With minimal supplies and a dying phone, he must fight to survive.
