Daadi Maa

Rai Bahadur is a very rich man. Neeta, his daughter, elopes with a taxi driver who later is revealed that wanted her only for her money. Desperate, Neeta commits suicide, abandoning her little daughter to Rai Bahadur's arms to raise her. When young Pinky grows up and also falls in love with the taxi driver Govinda, Rai Bahadur, afraid that the same misfortune will now plight his grandaughter, tries to seperate them. But Pinky's father will return from the shadows to claim what is his.

Two brothers, Thakur Vikram Singh (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), and Baseera Singh (Amjad Khan) live in the same village. Baseera is resentful that Vikram has got all he ever wanted, the estate, the wealth, the title, and lovely wife Kaushalya (Tanuja). Baseera unable to control his anger kills one of Vikram's men, and is sentenced to be hanged until death. Baseera leaves the legacy of revenge and hatred with his son, Jageera. Vikram undertakes to look after his nephew as his own, and he already has a son. Additionally, Vikram also adopts a boy as his son. Jageera, now grown up, leases his anger against the family, Vikram's son get's killed, and the adopted son is acused of having sexual relationship with Vikram's daughter-in-law. And the person to pronounce the sentence is non other than fair-minded and generous Thakur Vikram Singh.

Unable to handle the taking of his kingdom by an Indian Government decree, the Maharaja kills himself. His son, Jaipal, takes over as the Maharaja, turns rebel, and refuses to hand over his title and kingdom to the Government. It is in this background that Police Superintendent Dhirendra Singh assumes his duties.

Suraj Singh lives with his widowed mother in a small hut in a Bombay city slum. One day Suraj comes across an older male named Zorawar he feels sorry for him, and brings him home to live with them. What Suraj does not know that Zorawar is a former jailbird, who has completed his sentence - which was for multiple murders and a rape of a woman named Gauri Shrivastav, who had vowed to kill Zorawar by any means possible. Although Gauri is no longer alive, her vow to avenge the death of her Police Inspector brother, and her rape, are still alive and raging in Shankar. To complicate matters further Suraj finds out that his mother, Padmini, is having an affair with Zorawar. What will Suraj do under these circumstances, will he take steps to oust Zorawar and alert Shankar?

Surendra is an army officer, and has had numerous affairs with a number of attractive young women. One day he meets with beautiful Anuradha, and falls in love with her. Anuradha too loves him, and she is introduced to his mom. Anuradha has another admirer in Ranjeet, who informs Surendra and his mom, that Anuradha is deceiving them, and is the mother of a baby boy. Surendra and his mother are shocked, and will have nothing to do with Anuradha. Then the child, in question, is kidnapped, and held for ransom. It is then Surendra comes to know the shocking truth behind the abduction, which will change his life forever.
