The story of Rachel, a young woman in her early 20s who lives with her Nigerian uncle (Danny Glover) and his American wife (Edythe Davis). Rachel is left to figure it out on her own, but quickly runs into Skeeter, a washed-up movie star whose life is surprisingly similar to hers.
