Since its premiere in Vienna in 1992, the musical "Elisabeth" has been performed all over the world. In Japan, "Elisabeth" was first performed by the Takarazuka Snow troupe in 1996, prior to the first performances in other countries. A total of 10 versions of the musical have been performed by different troupes, making it one of Takarazuka Revue's most popular musicals. The "Elisabeth TAKARAZUKA 25th Anniversary Special Gala Concert" was held in 2021 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Snow troupe's first performance.

The Love of the Last Tycoon is inspired by the life of film producer Irving Thalberg, on whom protagonist Monroe Stahr is based. The story follows Stahr's rise to power in Hollywood, and his conflicts with rival Pat Brady, a character based on studio head Louis B. Mayer.

Kusunoki Masatsura, a warlord of the Southern Court, knows the court is approaching its downfall while spending his days fighting against the Northern Court along with his younger brothers: Masatoki and Masanori. Along the way Masatsura meets Ben no Naishi and the two fall in love. The full-blown cherry blossom season arrives, and with a decisive battle looming Masatsura wonders what he is fighting for.
