Worlds collide when a secret passage way to the dying world of Fraggle Rock is discovered in the U.S. Officer Lamb and Officer Chops are on the case, when a seemingly targeted string of murders begin to take place against the people of Fraggle Rock. The Painted Door is a Canadian short drama film, directed by Bruce Pittman and released in 1984. Based on a short story by Sinclair Ross, the film was produced by the National Film Board of Canada and Atlantis Films of Toronto. It follows a housewife who struggles with loneliness after her husband ventures into a blizzard. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Live Action Short Film.
