The show premiered August 4, 2007 and was first hosted by the Pinoy Big Brother hosts, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, and Bianca Gonzales. In 2008, Luis Manzano was added as a co-host of the show. Due to Kris Aquino's absence in her talk shows, Gonzaga replaced her in The Buzz while Gonzalez joined SNN. In July 2010, the new co-hosts were revealed as Cesca Litton and Nikki Gil. After SNN went off air, Gonzales rejoined E-Live. The show officially ended on January 28, 2012, replaced by Showbiz Inside Report.

The series is shot using Panasonic’s HDP2 technology. The series ended after one season due to failure to do well in the ratings game.

Mundo Man ay Magunaw

Jennifer "Jen" La Peña - Mundo Man Ay Magunaw is a Philippine television drama on ABS-CBN. It stars Empress Schuck, Ejay Falcon and Nikki Gil. The series is loosely based on the 1990 film starring Susan Roces, Nida Blanca, Alicia Vergel, Dante Rivero, Michael Locsin, Jennifer Sevilla, Sheryl Cruz and Romnick Sarmenta of Seiko Films in the same title. The full trailer was to be shown on January 10. The television series was supposed to be aired in the Kapamilya Gold afternoon block. However It will be aired on late morning/early noon time slot at 11:30 a.m. before Happy Yipee Yehey!. On February 6, ABS-CBN moved the show to its new time slot at 2:30 pm on Kapamilya Gold, airing after It's Showtime. The series uses some of the story sequences from the serialized version on the radio drama in the late 1980s on DZRH as anchored by Salvador Royales himself.
